crochet for the home

my grandmother has gotten so excited of all my projects i have taken on. she keeps wanting to show me hat patterns and so on. well she has a book she let me borrow that has the prettiest place mats (you could make them any size and use them for anything really) and i am going to make them. just need to find the right gold/mustard color.

so for jenna's birthday this year, i made her a purse. her birthday was may 17. it is now july 27th and i finally just finished it yesterday. i hope she uses it and likes it :)

i dont rest my hands, not even for a day.

i have realized how much i like making shoes. well, i guess they're slippers. this design is so nice, and being me, i have to alter the pattern and i don't pay attention to it after a couple of uses. it all becomes freestyle and for some reason, i can't stick to patterns. the design yes, but not the specifics.
